WMF Shunde 2006 Closed with Great Applause
Overwhelming Response from Visitors and Delegations Groups

2006 Shunde International Exhibition on Wood Working & Furniture Machinery and Accessories, Materials and Wood Products (WMF Shunde 2006) closed with resounding triumph at Shunde Exhibition Center, Daliang, Shunde, Guangdong, PR China on Oct 30, 2006. With great support from China National Forestry Machinery Association (CNFMA) and the facilitation of The People's Government of Shunde District, Foshan and other parties, the 3-day event attracted 6,822 visitors coming from 36 countries.

WMF Shunde is well recognized as a professional business platform for woodworking machinery industry. It is an extension from the North to South of the renowned exhibition, WMF Beijing, which has more than 20 years experience. Shunde located in an excellent geographical position, with advantages of centralized industrial development. Moreover, Lunjiao Town, Shunde has attained the honor of "China Woodworking Machinery Hub" by CNFMA recently, which further consolidated Shunde is the ideal location for the extension of WMF Beijing.

Overwhelming response from numerous delegation groups
Extensive visitor promotion campaign resulted in overwhelming responses from both Mainland China and Oversea delegation groups. During the three-day event, in addition to the delegation group organized by Malaysia Woodworking Machinery Association, Vietnam Woodworking Machinery Association, Dailian Woodworking Machinery Association, Chongqing Furniture Association, delegation groups from Germany, United States, Russia, Poland also visited WMF Shunde 2006. It further proved that WMF Shunde 2006 is one of the most representative and professional business platforms for the China woodworking machinery industry

Gratitude Dinner and Factory Tour
To express appreciation to the huge support of delegation groups and exhibitors, a gratitude dinner was held to facilitate in-depth sharing between delegation groups, exhibitors and organizers on 28 Oct. Besides, the organizers have also specially arranged factory tours for VIP buyers and delegation groups on the 2nd & 3rd day of the show (Oct 29 - 30). The VIP buyers and delegation groups enjoyed a fruitful trip during the visit to renowned enterprises, including Keenman, New Mas, V-hold and Lunjiao International Woodworking Machinery City.

Symposium
To encourage professional discussion on the latest technological development, professors from famous universities have been invited to be the guest speakers for the symposia. Topics including "Development on Precise Furniture Cutting Tools", "Dust-disposal, Energy Saving & Wastage Deduction of Furniture Industry", "Application of Digital Control on Contemporary Wood Product Production Process", "Analysis on Status Quo Style & Development Trend of Chinese Furniture" and "Status Quo & Development Trend of Furniture Machinery".

Exhibiting area of WMF Shunde 2006 reached 11,500 sqm. Nearly 200 woodworking machinery enterprises, coming from 11 countries and regions, have showcased their products and services. Positive feedbacks got from visitors. Many of them expressed their appreciation toward WMF Shunde 2006. "This is a very good and professional show. Lot of machineries here are with good quality and at reasonable price." told by Mr. Arkaze, coming from Ukraine.
