EP / Electrical China 2006 Kick Off on October 31 300 Recognized Suppliers Gathered to Boost China's Market |

The organizer of EP / Electrical China 2006 (The 11th International Exhibition on Electric Power Equipment and Technology and The 4th International Exhibition on Electrical Engineering, Electrical Equipment and Contractors' Supplies) announce the twin exhibition's grand opening today. From October 31 - November 3, 2006, over 300 exhibitors from 21 countries / regions assemble at the China International Exhibition Center (Hall 2 - 5), Beijing, PR China. It is expected over 30,000 trade buyers will come to visit during the four-day expo.
EP China, the only power expo in China obtains the honorable UFI Approved Event endorsed by UFI, is organized by the China Electricity Council, with strong support from the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (PRC), the five Power Group Corporations and the two Power Grid Corporations while Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd is the overseas co-organizer, consolidating it to be the most specialized and largest scale event of its kind in China.

EP / Electrical China 2006 occupies 4 halls that the organizer is exhilarated by the wide support of over 300 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions. Active participations are received from international pavilions such as BEAMA of UK, The Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology of Germany, U.S. Commercial Service, Korea Electrical Manufacturers' Cooperative (KEMC) and Korea Electrical Manufacturers' Association (KOEMA) with an array of advanced power equipment and electrical products.
The world's leading power and electrical companies are attracted to display under one roof, such as 3M, ABB, Siemens, Dupont, Eaton, EDF, Emerson, Hitachi, Huadian Switchgear, Hyosung, Japan AE Power System, LS Cable, LS Industrial Systems, NRG, Rittal, Schneider, Suzlon, Toshiba, etc.
Organized by China Electricity Council, the 'China Power Technology Conference - Sustainable Development of China Power Industry' is held concurrently with EP / Electrical China 2006, to have in-depth analysis on key issues of the development of China power industry with topics on energy saving, environmental protection, efficiency and security. It serves as a platform for deeper interaction and technology exchange among major industrial players and professionals. Amongst are representatives from the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (PRC), Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), China Electric Power Construction Association, EDF, ABB, Siemens, General Energy, BV, etc. enlightening the electric power industry in the year.
Furthermore, there are symposia and technical seminars to be held on November 1 and 2 alongside the expo. Symposia include ABB's Power Solutions, Dow Corning's "About the application of liquid silicone rubber for the production of high voltage hollow" and "The selection and long term performance of HVIC for power utilities", Nexans' "The experience of Nexans in windparks in Europe" while Schneider and Swan have technical seminars sessions for in-depth analysis on their technological advances and experiences with visitors.
The organizer expects 30,000 visitors will come to EP / Electrical China 2006, which has attracted over 1,500 worldwide trade buyers to pre-register online in advance. Besides, over 12 buyer delegations organized by Chinese electricity associations and organizations are planning to visit. Amongst are from provinces of Henan, Liaoning, Shandong, Shanxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Auhui.
