The organizer of EP / Electrical China 2006 (The 11th International Exhibition on Electric Power Equipment and Technology and The 4th International Exhibition on Electrical Engineering, Electrical Equipment and Contractors' Supplies) is pleased to announce that the renowned China Power Technology Conference and symposia will be held alongside the expo with wide support from power group corporations, power supply bureaux, government officials, power research and design institutes.
Organized by China Electricity Council, the 'China Power Technology Conference - Sustainable Development of China Power Industry' will be held concurrently with EP / Electrical China 2006. Key officials and major industrial players are invited to attend. Amongst are representatives from the State Electricity Regulatory Commission, People's Republic of China, Chinese Renewable Energy Industries Association, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), China Electric Power Construction Association, Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Electric Power Research Institute and Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE), etc. enlightening the electric power industry in the year.
Concurrent symposia and technical seminars will be held alongside the expo on specific power topics include "Power T&D Technology" and "Renewable Energy". ABB, Dow Corning, Nexans and Swan will have sessions for in-depth technological exchange with visitors.
Nexans, the global expert in cable industry, is going to present its innovative cables and cabling systems in the symposium, to upgrade networks of electricity companies and keep them competitive. It will give an overview on the status of the wind power generation in the world during the symposium. The growth rate of world wind power generation is 23.5% per year, whereas the annual energy growth is only 3.1%. In Europe the installed wind power in 2005 is 6,3 GW while China is 1,2 GW. The market prospection announced at the EWEC conference in Athens remarked that China will reach 5 GW in 2010 and 20 GW in 2020. There is a huge potential for further cooperation between Europe and China in the power industry.
Moreover, Nexans will introduce its experience on wind parks in Europe and its product portfolio for wind parks.
Besides, Dow Corning will present "About the Application of Liquid Silicone Rubber for the Production of High Voltage Hollow" and "The Selection and Long Term Performance of HVIC for Power Utilities". Swan Analytical Instruments will present a seminar on "Automation and Quality Assurance of Analytical Systems in Power Cycles", to describe autonomous operation of analytical devices, to discuss input parameters, automated analytical processes and output parameters.
EP / Electrical China 2006 is scheduled from October 31 - November 3, 2006 at the China International Exhibition Center (Hall 2 - 5), Beijing, PR China. EP China is the only power and electrical expo organized by China Electricity Council and endorsed by UFI as UFI Approved Event in China.
