Being the largest and most influential one-stop platform for printing, labeling, packaging and beverage industries, the 15th South China International Exhibition on Printing Industry (also known as "Printing South China 2008"), The China International Exhibition on Label Printing Technology (also known as "Sino-Label 2008"), The 15th China International Exhibition on Packaging Machinery & Materials (also known as "Sino-Pack 2008") and The 12th China International Exhibition on Beverage, Brewery and Wine Technology (also known as "China Drinktec 2008") open today (4 March 2008) at China Import & Export Fair Pazhou Complex, Guangzhou, PR China.
The 4 shows, which are organized by Administration of Press and Publication of Guangdong Province, Guangdong Provincial Publishing Group, China Foreign Trade Center (Group) and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, attracted over 800 exhibitors who came from 19 countries / regions, including the US, Italy, Germany, Japan, UK, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Spain, Canada, India, Sweden, Israel, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Taiwan Province and Hong Kong SAR, etc. The shows occupied an exhibition area of 50,000 sq.m. and the organizers estimate that the shows, with record-breaking scale, will draw 40,000 professional buyers.
As compared to 2007, Printing South China / Sino-Label / Sino-Pack & China Drinktec 2008 not only achieved a larger exhibition area, but also attracted better quality exhibitors and received stronger support from the government. Being the show organizers for the first time, Administration of Press and Publication of Guangdong Province & Guangdong Provincial Publishing Group helped to boost both exhibitors and buyers recruitment.

Being the leading printing and label technology shows in South China, Printing South China & Sino-Label 2008 gathered over 600 local and international exhibitors. Active Participation of Renowned Exhibitors in Sino-Pack / China Drinktec 2008
Sino-Pack / China Drinktec 2008 received overwhelming support from over 200 local and overseas exhibitors. All booths were sold out 3 months prior to the show opening. JINYI, BEIJING MAXWELL, BEIJING OMORI, SHANGHAI PEIYU, FU CHUN SHIN, ABE, ELAU of Germany and MACSA of Spain, etc. showed their first presence in Sino-Pack. Numerous high-tech packaging and beverage machines and quality control system, particularly for food, beverage, pharmaceuticals and daily chemical products manufacturers are demonstrated in the twin expo, such as blow molding machines and various popular plastic containers from AOKI, automatic high speed VFFS system from JINYI and MACWELL, tailor-made machines and production lines for beer, beverage, food and daily chemical products from KRONES, hot-melt / adhesive automatic labelling machine from E-STAR, gable-top carton forming/ filling/ sealing machines from TCP, soft-packaging quality control instruments from LABTHINK, various kinds of gearboxes from SITI, horizontal packaging machine from BEIJING OMORI, inkjet / laser technology from DOMINO and other soft packaging, labeling, wrapping, sealing, filling, blow molding machines and related quality control system. Last but not the least, the Korean Pavilion demonstrated high quality packaging machines and technology at the fairground.
Expecting 40,000 Buyers to Visit the 4 Shows
The 4 shows received support from local and overseas buyers particularly from the Pearl and Yangtze River Delta region of China as well as overseas countries and regions, such as the US, Italy, Germany, Japan, UK, Switzerland, Sweden, France, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan Province and Hong Kong SAR, etc. This year, it is estimated that over 70 - 80% of total buyers will come from printing and packaging industry in Guangdong Province particularly from industrial hubs such as Dongguan, Foshan, Zhongshan, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, etc. Currently, buyers from over 51 countries / regions already pre-registered online to visit the shows. Those top quality pre-registered buyers include NESTLE, PROCTER & GAMBLE, MATTEL, AMWAY, VITASOY, KRAFT FOODS, LIBY, HOP HING, HEALTH WORKS, ISQUEEN, VITAGREEN, LEE KUM KEE, CK LIFESCIENCES, HASBRO, etc. With pressing demand from the market and strong support from the associations, the shows are expected to receive 40,000 visitors.
Furthermore, Administration of Press and Publication of Guangdong Province & Guangdong Provincial Publishing Group have organized over 10 delegation groups to visit the shows. In addition, more than 10 renowned printing and packaging associations from Guangxi Province, Guangdong Province, Fujian Province, Liaoning Province, etc., together with overseas delegations from India, Indonesia, Korea and Vietnam will also attend the shows.
Concurrent Symposia Provide Quality Platform for Information / Technological Exchange
Symposia of "Labeling and Packaging Technology for Food Products" and "Labeling and Packaging Technology for Daily Chemical Products" will be held on March 5 to encourage information and technology exchange among industry professionals, particularly for manufacturers of daily chemical products, food products, packaging-related manufacturers, label printing companies, etc. Hot topics such as "Introduction of Standards for Labeling and Packaging of Food Products in Europe and America", "The Application of Total Coding Technology in Food Labeling & Packaging", "Labeling Technology Enters the Era of Diversification", "The Application of Inkjet Digital Printing in Packaging", "The Application of Smart Label in the Packaging of Daily Chemical Products", "The Best Solution for Labeling of Daily Chemical Products - Flexo Printing", etc. will be presented by various renowned enterprises including BROTECH, DOMINO, MARKEM-IMAJE, XAAR, BASCH and UNITED PRINTING, etc.
