WMF Shunde 2007 - Largest woodworking exhibition in South China

2007 Shunde International Exhibition on Wood Working & Furniture Machinery and Accessories, Materials and Wood Products (also know as WMF Shunde 2007), brought a successful ending on August 23 at Shunde Exhibition Centre, Shunde, Guangdong, P.R. China. More than 7,000 visitors and buyers and 196 renowned overseas and Chinese exhibitors gathered at one roof of the great sourcing platform, an exhibition area of 11,500 sqm, representing it the most influential woodworking expo in South China.
The 3-day expo was succeeded in attracting 7,345 trade worldwide visitors who are coming from Australia, Canada, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Russia, Ukraine, U.S., etc. Among them, there are renowned trading associations such as Malaysia Woodworking Association, Vietnam Timber & Forest Product Association, Lebanon Furniture Association, Sheng Fang Furniture Association, Jiang Xi Nan Kang Furniture Association,
as well as leading enterprises such as Royal Furniture, Landbond Furniture, Shenzhen Dafuhao, AURORA Group, Daban Furniture, Shenzhen Hua Yuan Xuan Furniture, European Kitchen Enterprise etc.

The profile of visitors and the testimonial could further consolidate WMF Shunde 2007 to be a professional business platform for sourcing and information exchange. Professional Symposium is one of the highlights of WMF Shunde 2007. There are 4 professional concurrent symposia featuring pressing topics of woodworking and furniture industry: "Corporate Culture and Marketing Strategy for Furniture Manufacturing Industry" hosted by Nanjing Forestry University Professor Wu Zhi Hui, "Application of Automation Control for Furniture Manufacturing in China" by Northeast Forestry University Professor Ma Yan, "Safety Management for Furniture Production" by Mr. Mai Jing Feng, who comes from Administration of Work Safety of Shunde District and "Introduction on CE Marking (For Woodworking Machineries)" by Mr. Zhang Hai Qiang, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of Shunde District.
Throughout a professional and interactive presentation delivered by guest speakers and active participation of audiences, the symposia ended successfully. Both speakers and attendants got fruitful insights during the sharing and discussion of the most up-to-date market news and upcoming trend in each topic. With the professional concurrent symposia held concurrently during the show, both exhibitors and visitors assured the show not only providing an excellent sourcing platform, but also a golden opportunity for market and technological information exchange.
With the excellent foundation built up in last edition, the professionalism of this edition further improved. Apart from well recognized machineries, a wide range of exhibits, feature cutting tools, materials and related accessories, have also been showcased by famous enterprises such as Dimar, Tideway, Yan's, Aquila, Harbin Hi-Tech Machinery, Heinrich Konig & Co., Krautzberger Gmbh, Tsubaki Kabelschlepp, Norres, Eurocell.
"The outstanding achievement of the exhibition is the result of the enormous resources input by the organizers. Nearly 200 enterprises exhibit in WMF Shunde 2007, with 35% of exhibitors who are coming from outside Guangdong region. Exhibitors coming from outside Foshan regions even contributed 60% of the exhibitors. The show showcases a few hundreds machineries and provide a wide range of exhibits to buyers, providing more choices and business opportunity than last edition" stressed Mr. Stanley Chu, Chairman of Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd.
