WMF 2008 - Asia Number 1 and Most Professional Woodworking Expo

The 12th International Exhibition on Woodworking Machinery and Furniture Manufacturing Equipment / The 12th International Exhibition on Furniture Accessories, Materials and Wood Products (also known as WMF 2008) will be staged at China International Exhibition Centre (CIEC), Beijing, P.R. China on March 7 - 10, 2008. WMF 2008's honorary organizers are the State Forestry Administration of P.R. China, China International Exhibition Centre Group Corporation and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The organizers include China National Forestry Machinery Association, Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd., China Forestry Group Corporation and China Building Decoration Association
A press conference was held on Sept 13 in Shanghai. Renowned guests have attended this event, including Mr. Ma Qi Sheng, Secretary General of China National Forestry Machinery Association, Ms. Meng Ya Dan , Manager of International Trade Department of China Forestry Group Corporation, China National Forest Products Industry Corporation, Ms. Zhang Zhong Ling, Deputy Secretary General of The Materials Committee of China Building Decoration Association, Mr. Wang Kun, Chairman of The Sodality of Shanghai Woodworking Machinery Guild as well as representatives from furniture association, embassy, famous mass media and trade media.
"Thanks to the high speed development of Chinese woodworking machinery industry, the well-known woodworking exhibition has a big room for expansion. Currently, WMF 2008 is the largest woodworking expo in Asia, the fourth largest in the world (in fact it should be the third)" stressed by Mr. Ma Qi Sheng. He believed WMF would soon overtake IWF (International Woodworking Machinery & Furniture Supply Fair) in Atlanta, U.S.A. to become the third largest fair in the world.
"WMF 2008 gained overwhelming response and organizers decided to open 1 additional hall to a new record of total of 10 halls. The exhibiting area reaches 60,000 sqm from 53,000 sqm! The stunning show has attracted over 600 renowned enterprises coming from over 18 countries and regions, with Germany, Italy and Taiwan province Pavilion," Mr. Stanley Chu, Chairman of Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, emphasized. He continued, "The promotion campaign of WMF 2008 kicked off at the beginning of the year. Under diversified and proactive promotion campaign, the organizers have successfully invited buyer delegations from France, Bulgaria, Germany, Russia, Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia, South East Asian countries, Europe as well as United States. We expect to have nearly 30,000 professional visitors from China and all over the world coming to visit the show."
