| WMF - officially endorsed by EUMABOIS |

The organizers of WMF is pleased to announce that WMF has become an endorsed event of European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (EUMABOIS), consolidating its internationalism and leading position of the show in the woodworking industry. EUMABOIS is a non-profit making federation grouping 13 national Associations representing the major European Manufacturers of machines and accessories for woodworking (*). Approximately 800 industrial companies belong to EUMABOIS, with a production of about 5.400 million Euro.
With over 20 years' proven track records, WMF has become one of the most influential business platform for woodworking industry since 1986. In 2006, the exhibition scale reached 44,000 sqm, making WMF become the largest woodworking show in Asia. There were 530 exhibitors coming from 19 countries and regions and over 1,000 pieces of machine were displayed and demonstrated in the fairground. The coming edition, WMF 2008, will be held again in China International Exhibition Centre (CIEC), Beijing, P.R. China on March 7 - 10, 2008.
"Europe has been present in the development of China in this industry for almost 30 years. It has been its driving force, it is where technologies were born and developed, now reproduced on a large scale in several Chinese districts, thanks to local inventive and skills.
Eumabois is pleased to go back to Beijing, being the city still important and strategic for the development of the woodworking industry and to support again the WMF, event which represented in the past the door for the entrance and diffusion of the European technology in China.
We are particularly glad, this time, to work together with the Chinese Association CNFMA, to go in the same direction and to be able to present a complete offer of technology of our field on behalf of the exhibitors and visitors. Our gratitude goes also to Adsale for the precious capacity of creating such big event as WMF 2008 is going to be.
The European companies will exhibit at WMF 2008 a sort of compendium of everything wood technology is able to express. Within this exhibiting frame, the chances for confrontation, exchange of opinions and efficient business-oriented reports will allow both exhibitors and visitors to live an important working experience." said EUMABOIS President Mr. Gianni Ghizzoni.
Mr. Stanley Chu, the chairman of Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, the organizer of WMF 2008, said, "It is encouraging that EUMABOIS has exclusively endorsed WMF as the only officially supported exhibition in China for the years 2008, 2010 and 2012. We will continue to enhance the show's international contents and professionalism. With the participation of EUMABOIS and its member associations, WMF 2008 is expected to occupy a total exhibition area of 53,000 sqm, with a new record high".
Besides the long-term support of EUMABOIS, WMF is also endorsed by the China National Forestry Machinery Association (CNFMA). As the only reference event in China in even years, the participation of major associations in WMF is believed to be very welcomed by the industry that is long for one big fair to regulate the once chaotic fair market.
WMF 2008's honorary organizers are the State Forestry Administration of P.R. China, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the China International Exhibition Centre Group Corporation. The organizers include China National Forestry Machinery Association, Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, China International Forestry Group Corporation and China Building Decoration Association.
