Auto Parts Shanghai 2007 Unveils on September 26
To Boost International Trade Opportunities in Auto Industry

Organized by Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd and supported by Society of Automotive Engineers of China (SAE China) and SAIC Motor Corporation Limited, Auto Parts Shanghai / Auto Manufacturing Shanghai 2007 kick off today. Held from September 26 - 28, 2007 at Shanghai International Exhibition Center (INTEX), PR China, the 3-day expo assembles quality auto parts, components and accessories, chemicals and raw materials, auto and parts manufacturing, tyre and wheel, electronic system, mould and die, welding and cutting equipment and the newest technology at a time.

Mr. Stanley Chu, Chairman of Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd remarked that auto industry in China is undergoing a tremendous time. Both vehicle production and consumption exceeded 7.2 millions in 2006 and reached 4.3 millions in the first half year of 2007, and is expecting to grow in next few years. Simultaneously, the industrial players are also attentive to enhance the productivity, quality and profit for auto and auto parts manufacturing. Auto Parts Shanghai / Auto Manufacturing Shanghai 2007 takes place to serve the industry with competitive products, technology and market news, as a integrated market for Chinese and worldwide buyers.

The fair is exhibited by over 250 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions including Austria, Canada, France, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, PR China, Taiwan, The Netherlands, Singapore, Sweden & United States, bringing an insight on new products and advanced technology. Renowned exhibitors include ExxonMobil, Bayer, 3M, Dayco, Philips Lighting, Atotech, Dow Corning, Fleetguard, Gentex, Philips Lighting, Invista, Wai Transpo, Han's Laser, Dieffenbacher, Kunststoff-Froehlich GmbH, Vi-chem, Shinco, Wacker and Momentive, etc.

International pavilions from Korea by Korea Industry & Trade Association (KITA), Singapore by Singapore Industrial Automation Association (SIAA), and Hong Kong have brought their innovative products to the fairground.

Beside, there is arising concern to environmental protection in the auto industry. Visitors would be enlightened by the first Hong Kong made electric car - MyCar, with its first preview at the fairground. It is invented by EuAuto Technology which specializes in developing environmental-friendly vehicles. MyCar-EV is a fully electric-driven vehicle with zero emission and its electric-driving system is co-developed by Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Several attention-grabbing conference and technical seminars are held alongside the expo, introducing the newest products, technologies and market trends. For instance, Hong Kong Productivity Council presents a seminar on "Hong Kong APAS R&D Centre: A Technology Partner for Solving Your Critical Components Needs". Atotech covers topics on "The latest finish of zinc, zinc alloy, and zinc flake technology complied to high end application on corrosion protection" and "Futuron Ultra - New Generation of direct metallization system for Plating on ABS and ABS/PC". Dieffenbacher presents "New advanced applications of the DIEFFENBACHER Direct Process for Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastics LFT-D".

"The 4th International Conference on Auto Manufacturing - Non-Metal Technology" will be taken place on September 27. Industrial players such as China FAW Group, SAIC, ExxonMobil, China Auto Parts and Accessories Corporation, Geely Automobile, Trexel, etc. will cover topics on "Latest Plastic Applications and Trends in Automobile Industry", "Plastic Applications on Eco-friendly Automotive", and "Opportunity and Challenge of China Auto Parts Industry", etc.

The organizer reviewed that the fair has received extensive support from trade professionals. Auto and auto parts association in China from Jiangsu Changzhou, Suzhou, Wuxi and Zhejiang Hanzhou and Cixi, as well as trading groups from Japan Fukushima organize trade delegations to look for suppliers.

The online visitor pre-registration has also attracted over 4,000 trade visitors from 52 countries/regions, mainly from United Kingdom, United States, Russia, India and Hong Kong. These auto and auto parts manufacturers, dealers and traders would definitely initiate business opportunities with exhibitors at the expo.
