Being the world's 3rd largest automotive manufacturing country and the 2nd largest vehicle consumption country, China is absolutely a great market for automotive manufacturing equipment and technology. Statistics indicate that over 70% of imported machine tools, and mould & dies are used in the automotive industry. With the substantial growth in automobile production and sales, car ownership in China is expected to increase to 60 million units by 2010. To cope with Chinese booming automotive market, Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd will join hands with Society of Automotive Engineers of China (SAE China) again to stage two specialized trade fairs namely Auto Manufacturing Shanghai 2007 (Shanghai International Exhibition for Auto Manufacturing) and Auto Parts Shanghai 2007 (Shanghai International Exhibition for Auto Parts & Accessories) at Shanghai International Exhibition Center, PR China from September 26-28, 2007.

To maximize business opportunities between exhibitors and buyers at the fair, the organizer will provide a free online business matching service prior. It deems to facilitate a unique sourcing platform for exhibitors to reach their potential global buyers and in order to expand the sales network.

The last edition in 2005 attracted full participation with over 220 exhibitors from 14 countries/regions as well as official pavilions which included Hong Kong (HKTDC), Korea (KITA & Gyeonggi Provincial Government), Taiwan (TVMA) and Singapore (SIAA). Over 22,000 quality buyers attended the previous events, including the major vehicle manufacturers and tier 1 and tier 2 auto parts manufacturers from all over China and worldwide.

The twin expo in 2007 will serve as a focal point of sourcing and purchasing. Auto Manufacturing Shanghai 2007 will showcase an array of exhibits from mould & die to machine tools, chemical and materials, abrasive materials & tools, welding & cutting equipments, coating & surface treatment, etc. While the concurrent Auto Parts Shanghai 2007 will mainly focus on auto parts, accessories, tyre and whel, etc. Specialized theme zones will be set up either to facilitate buyers matching, featuring themes on Chemical & Raw Materials, Mould & Die and Auto Electronics.

Perpetuated from the past success, Auto Manufacturing Shanghai 2007 has been receiving overwhelming responses from exhibitors and international trade associations. Meanwhile, over 50% exhibition space was booked. Leading brands such as 3M, Du Pont, Jacobs, GE Plastics as well as official pavilions from India, Singapore and Korea will have prominent booth presentation in the expo. The organizer expects the show will have 50% - 60% growth on show scale and attract over 25,000 domestic and overseas trade visitors.

To reinforce interactions and communications between exhibitors and visitors, a series of symposiums and technical seminars will be held concurrently during the show. In the last edition, professionals from leading car-makers and parts manufacturers including Bosch, Dongfeng Motor, FAW, Shanghai Volkswagen...etc. had delivered presentations which were well attended by visitors.

Auto Manufacturing Shanghai 2007 is working closely with several authoritative auto parts associations in East China, including Auto Parts Industry Association of Ningbo, Fenghua Automobile Motorcycle Industry Association, Cixi Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation Bureau, Changzhou Automobile Motorcycle Parts Industry Association. This collaboration will further enhance significance of the show in East China regions and thus accelerate the awareness among auto and parts manufacturers.
