300 Brands Show Up In EP / Electrical Shanghai
With Innovative Power Solutions and Applications

Organized by China Electricity Council and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, EP Shanghai / Electrical Shanghai 2007 (The 6th International Exhibition on Electric Power Equipment and Technology, The 5th International Exhibition on Electrical Engineering, Electrical Equipment and Contractors' Supplies) will commence from June 5 - 7, 2007 at Shanghai International Exhibition Center (INTEX), Shanghai, PR China. 300 exhibitors from 16 countries / regions will showcase their latest electric power equipment and technology.

The development on electric power industry is vigorous in China and is stressing on adopting advanced technique to achieve higher efficiency, power supply stability and efforts in energy saving projects. EP Shanghai / Electrical Shanghai 2007 will bring major market players to showcase their spectrum of equipments and technology on power generation, power T&D, environmental power, control & testing, and electrical products.

ABB has supported EP exhibition for many years. In EP Shanghai 2007, ABB will introduce its comprehensive equipments and facilities in over 200 sqm booth, which include UniGear ZS1 AIS metalclad switchgear, Disconnector, SafeRing/ SafePlus Intelligent Ring Main Unit, UniSwitch Metal-enclose Switchgear, UniGear 550 AIS metalclad switchgear, PVB pole-mounted vacuum breaker, Multifunctional protection and control unit REF542plus, etc.

GE Energy will exhibit its portfolio of optimization and control solutions, namely Bently Nevada? Asset Condition Monitoring, Control Solutions, Optimization and Diagnostic Software, Reliability Consulting and Implementation Services, Optimization and Control Services. GE Energy compiles numerous complementary product lines and services together, addressing many of today's most pressing optimization and performance concerns to help customers to maximize the economic performance of their operating assets.

AREVA T&D designs, manufactures and supplies a complete range of equipments, systems and services for all stages in the transfer of electricity, from the generator to the large end-user. It serves electric utilities as well as the oil, mining and metals, wind energy and power engineering industries.

Enel is one of the leading European utilities in the power market. Its 60,000 employees operate power plants from conventional resources and renewable energy in 15 countries. It is now looking to grow its portfolio of activities into new frontiers, aiming to operate developing green-field projects in renewable energy generation and to share its expertise in partnerships in industrial and commercial energy efficiency.

Japan AE Power Systems focus on research, development, design, sales, manufacture, inspection, quality assurance, and engineering of transmission and distribution systems. They strengthen the competitive advantage of their products, broaden their lineup, and quicken the pulse of product development by combining their outstanding technologies.

In the show, TOSHIBA will introduce visitors with advanced technologies on Nuclear and UHV transmission, and will demonstrate mature technologies on Gas Insulated Transformer, Relays, GIS, Surge Arrester, DAS, DCS and Rehabilitation technique for turbine-generator.

EP Shanghai / Electrical Shanghai will gather other brands include 3M, Siemens, Daqo Group, Toshiba, Hyosung, Hager, EDF, Dow Corning, Ormazabal, Schniewindt, Huadian Switchgear, etc. The show scale reaches a 30% growth as compared to EP Shanghai 2005, with international pavilions organized by Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology of Germany and the US Commercial Service.

To facilitate an in-depth communications between exhibitors and the industrial players, a series of symposiums on Power T&D and Green Power Technology will be concurrently held. Speakers include Areva, GE Energy, Dow Corning and Nexans.

Besides, China Electricity Council will organize the China International Power Generation Technology Conference alongside EP / Electrical Shanghai 2007 featuring "Green Power --- New Development of China Power Generation in the 21st Century", to explore insights on renewable energy, energy efficiency, environmental protection and power construction. Over 300 delegates from power plants, power corporations, power supply bureau, design institute and the related Governmental officials will be invited to this significant event and visit the expo.

Founded in 1986, EP / Electrical China and EP / Electrical Shanghai are organized by China Electricity Council and held rotationally in Shanghai and Beijing in alternate years.
